This policy explains how Review Booster ("Review Booster," "we," "us") handles information when you use Review Booster and when a business uses Review Booster to contact you.
Two kinds of people we deal with
Business customers are the companies that sign up for Review Booster. Their customers are the people those businesses add so they can be asked for a review. If you received a review request email, the business that served you added your details, and that business decides whether to contact you. We process your details on its behalf.
What we collect
- Account information: the email address you sign in with.
- Business details: business name, the name that signs emails, an optional reply-to address, and the business's Google review link.
- Customer details added by a business: name, email address and an optional short description of the job.
- Activity: when a review request or reminder was sent, whether the review link was clicked, and unsubscribe choices.
- Technical data: standard server logs and the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To send review requests and one reminder on behalf of the business, and to stop when someone unsubscribes.
- To show businesses how many requests were sent and clicked.
- To run, secure and support the service, and to contact business customers about their account.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer details added by a business for our own marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run Review Booster: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email delivery). They process data only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and its users.
How long we keep it
Business account data is kept while the account is active. When a business deletes its account, its business and customer records are deleted within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records by law. Unsubscribe records are kept so we can keep honoring them.
Your choices
- Every review request email includes an unsubscribe link. Using it stops future emails from that business through Review Booster.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@tryreviewbooster.com. If a business added you, we may pass your request to that business.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted so each business can see only its own records, and we limit internal access to what's needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you notice anything wrong.
Children
Review Booster is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and notify business customers by email.
